As a part of the World Internet of Things Exposition 2024, the third Wuxi ICV Ecosystem Conference commenced in Wuxi, the country's first national IoV pilot zone, on Nov 10.
Focused on vehicle-road-cloud integration, the conference facilitated in-depth discussions on the development trends of ICV, smart traffic management, and vehicle-network collaboration, aiming to explore new technologies and models in the ICV industry.
Ding Rongjun, a Chinese Academy of Engineering member, highlighted technological breakthroughs in power semiconductors of intelligent new energy vehicles. In contrast, Cai Wei, a foreign Russian Academy of Engineering member, elaborated on technological frontiers in new energy vehicles and electric drive systems.
The critical discussions that took place during the conference facilitated significant announcements, including the publication of a white paper on intelligent chassis operating systems by the National Innovation Center of Intelligent and Connected Vehicles. Furthermore, Wuxi Autolink Information Technology introduced a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) development platform aimed at enhancing vehicle-road-vehicle integration.
Subsequent to the discussions and announcements, the conference witnessed the signing of two key projects. These comprise the establishment of the headquarters for the Wuxi Internet of Vehicles Industry Development Group and the initiation of 12 ICV ecosystem projects within the Wuxi Intelligent Connected Vehicles Ecosystem Industrial Park.
The conference also featured three sub-forums on intelligent electric vehicle sensors, intelligent cockpit and domain controllers, and Geely ICV technologies, attracting over 300 representatives from universities, research institutes, outstanding enterprises in the ICV ecosystem, and investment institutes.
