As an integral part of the World Internet of Things Exposition 2024, the 2024 "AI+Manufacturing" Ecosystem Conference and the first Yangtze River Delta Intelligent Manufacturing System Solution Conference were held in Wuxi, Jiangsu province, on Nov 12.
The conferences fostered discussions on intelligent manufacturing trends, strengthened resource connections, and reinforced the implementation of achievements.
Wuxi Huishan Humanoid Robot Industrial Park was inaugurated at the conference, and five projects covering future-oriented industries, such as AI and humanoid robots, were initiated in the park. The 163-mu (10.87-hectare) industrial park boasts a total investment of 1.02 billion yuan ($140.87 million) and plans to introduce businesses engaging in robots, AI, and core parts manufacturing.
During the conference, a report was also presented that outlined a development index for cities within the Yangtze River Delta in the intelligent manufacturing industry.
