The World Internet of Things Exposition 2024 wrapped up in Wuxi, Jiangsu province, on Nov 13, with the total number of participants exceeding 50,000.
During the expo, 33 IoT projects with a combined investment of 31.28 billion yuan ($4.32 billion) were secured. Among them, 15 projects are worth over 1 billion yuan and involve fields such as low-altitude detection radar and intelligent computing power.
International cooperation is one of the focuses of this year's expo with the attendance of 98 international guests from 26 countries and regions and the establishment of 560-square meter exhibition area specifically for international exhibitors.
The event's product and application exhibition attracted 392 exhibitors, including 22 Fortune Global 500 companies and listed enterprises. During the three-day exhibition, more than 20 percent of the product and application exhibitors reached cooperative intentions.
