The Huangnitou Jiayuan Community in Liangxi district, Wuxi, has recently become popular among photographers.
In the community, many photographers can be seen holding their cameras to capture photos of kingfishers catching fish. After the community's lotus pond was cleaned up, it has become a well-known spot for photographers.
Surrounded by various rivers and a lot of greenery, Huangnitou Jiayuan attracts a variety of birds from time to time. Around 20 photographers visit every day, with some arriving as early as 6 am and staying until after 3 pm, all to capture that one spectacular shot.

Local resident Gao Bingliang played a crucial role in making the spot popular among photographers. He is also a photography enthusiast who, in 2021, decided to start taking photos at the community's lotus pond. Sometimes, he shares his photos with a group of nearly 300 bird photography enthusiasts. Inspired by his works, these enthusiasts from Shanghai, Shandong, and Tianjin began rushing to Wuxi to capture similar shots.
Some residents even joined a bird photography team, while others volunteer serving hot tea to photographers and helping maintain the environment to attract more birds.
Due to its unique charm and livable environment, Huangnitou Jiayuan has become an ideal residential area for many locals. The community's beautiful environment and rich cultural atmosphere have captured the attention of countless individuals.
