As the Lantern Festival is just around the corner, various attractions and cultural facilities in Wuxi, Jiangsu province, have arranged different activities to celebrate the traditional festival on Feb 12.
Here are some recommendations.
Huishan Ancient Town will showcase performances identical to those featured during the 2025 CCTV Spring Festival Gala. Furthermore, traditional lion and dragon dances and lively folk parades will take place along the town's streets.
Nianhuawan Bay Scenic Area will provide fireworks displays, drone shows, a lantern show, and a folk culture parade.

Qingming Bridge Ancient Canal Scenic Area will reproduce the flourishing scene 1,000 years ago with fish-shaped lanterns lighting up the Grand Canal. Visitors can also view cultural performances in the scenic area.
Plum Garden recently kicked off the 19th edition of its plum blossom and wintersweet exhibition. The tens of thousands of plum trees in the garden have almost fully blossomed, adding a slight touch of spring to the chilly weather.

Wuxi Library, Wuxi Art Museum, Donglin Academy, Jiangyin Art Museum, and Yixing Museum will also provide cultural offerings on the Lantern Festival like guessing lantern riddles, making lanterns, cultural bazars, and exhibitions.
