Huishan Ancient Town, located in Liangxi district, Wuxi, was abuzz with vibrant festivities, on Feb 11, only one day prior to the Lantern Festival this year, drawing international visitors to revel in the lively and festive ambiance.
From the outset, the group engaged in Lantern Festival activities featuring lantern riddles and yuanxiao (glutinous rice balls), a cherished traditional treat during the festival.
While browsing intangible cultural heritage bazaar, group members had the chance to try their hands at traditional crafts such as paper-cutting and sugar-painting, immersing themselves in the unique allure of these time-honored artistic traditions.
In addition, they also toured several iconic attractions in this scenic area, which served as the venue for the 2025 CMG Spring Festival Gala in Wuxi, and delighted their taste buds with local delicacies at a century-old restaurant.
