This year's marathon route showcased an enhanced scenic experience, blending Wuxi's iconic landmarks, natural beauty, and cultural charm. The first half of the race followed the classic Lihu Lake route, while the latter half transitioned into the dynamic Wuxi Economic Development District, merging natural landscapes with urban vibrancy.

Australian runner Lisa Jane Weightman expressed her excitement about the event, "I enjoyed every part of the course, and I loved looking around and seeing the scenery and what a beautiful place Wuxi is," she said.

Incorporating local culture into the race experience, organizers lined the course with performances by folk music ensembles, symphony orchestras, and pop bands, further reinforcing Wuxi's reputation as a city of music. Finishers were also treated to special local delicacies, while those who didn't secure a race spot, along with participants from the past decade, received discount vouchers for tourism, dining, shopping, and accommodations — deepening the integration between the marathon and city life.
