The 2025 Yangshan Half Marathon is scheduled to kick off on March 30 in Huishan, a district in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, according to the latest press conference.
The number of participants in this year's race has increased from the original 5,000 to 7,000, with over 12,000 runners registering. Among the participants are 22 foreign athletes and 994 athletes from outside Wuxi.

Continuing with the theme of "Running in the Peach Blossom Town", the race will start at Peach Heart Island, passing through iconic landmarks in Yangshan town such as Peach Blossom Island and New Pastoralism, allowing participants to experience a unique and beautiful rural marathon.

To ensure the highest possible quality of services, 1,650 police and security personnel will be deployed, 1,116 event volunteers will be recruited and trained, over 100 race vehicles will be provided, 108 emergency medical personnel will be stationed along the route, eight ambulances will be on standby, and one rescue helicopter will be on call.
A dedicated shuttle service will be also offered, with 100 shuttle buses transporting participants for free between Sumiao Station on subway line 3 and the marathon venue.
