The 12th Asian Junior Wushu Championships wrapped up in Jiangyin, a city at the county level in Wuxi, Jiangsu province, on July 30, drawing 467 competitors from 24 countries and regions.

The championships featured two events: sanda (Chinese kickboxing) and taolu (routine competition). After four days of fierce competition, Team China topped the medal table with 17 gold and two bronze medals. Team Hong Kong, China, took second place with 14 gold, four silver, and five bronze medals, while Team Indonesia finished third with 12 gold, six silver, and 12 bronze medals.

This grand event was not only a high-level athletic competition but also highlighted Wushu as a valuable part of Eastern culture, acting as a vital link in promoting international youth exchanges, upholding the spirit of sportsmanship, and fostering friendships.
