The cultural and tourism reality show "Traveling China with the Spring Festival Gala" was filmed in Wuxi, Jiangsu province on Sept 4, featuring an appearance by Cambodian Princess Norodom Jenna.
Launched on April 30 by China Media Group in Wuxi, this reality show uses the cultural grandeur of the Spring Festival Gala to tell many small stories, exploring the unique characteristics of the four cities that hosted parts of the 2025 gala.
In the Wuxi sub-venue of the 2025 Spring Festival Gala, the melody of the Jiangnan tune Scenes of Wuxi acts as a magical key, revealing Wuxi's rich history and leading viewers to a city of music lovers.
The filming sites for the Wuxi part of the show are directly connected to the performances at the Wuxi sub-venue.
At the filming location, 50 musicians from the Wuxi Chinese Orchestra performed Scenes of Wuxi at Erquan Square. The show's guests and hosts also explored the commercial streets of the Chong'an Temple Scenic Area, the Public Garden, and Ah Bing's former residence, engaging with locals and taking part in interactive games.
