Wuxi South Ocean College is a full-time higher vocational institution authorized to award diplomas. Its academic units include schools of Automotive Engineering and Management, Architectural Engineering and Art Design, Aviation Tourism, Early Childhood Education and Management, Business, Intelligent Equipment, and Information Engineering, along with departments dedicated to Professional Quality and Continuing Education.

The college actively promotes international cooperation and has signed agreements with universities in Australia, the United States, Ireland, Singapore, and other countries to implement undergraduate programs. These programs are based on curriculum alignment, mutual credit recognition, and consistent program duration. Its China-Australia cooperation project was chosen by the Ministry of Education as a national model for Sino-foreign cooperative education.
