Jiangsu Vocational College of Information Technology is a State-owned, State-run institution of higher education approved by the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. It features four provincial high-level specialty clusters: Microelectronics Technology, Internet of Things Application Technology, Mold Design and Manufacturing, and E-commerce. It also develops specialty clusters such as New Energy Vehicle Technology, Digital Media Art Design, and Engineering Cost.
The college has partnered with Laos' Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Luang Namtha Provincial Department of Education, and Vientiane Saysettha Comprehensive Development Zone to establish overseas educational institutions. These centers focus on training students in Chinese language and vocational skills. The college enrolls international students from countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiatives, has fosters friendly relations with government agencies, universities, and research organizations in nations such as the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, and annually dispatches teaching staff, administrative personnel, and top students abroad for training and study.
