The three-day 2025 World Internet of Things Exposition (WIOT) wrapped up in Wuxi, Jiangsu province, on Nov 2, attracting nearly 400 enterprises from 20 countries and regions and resulting in the signing of agreements for 26 major projects worth over 32 billion yuan ($4.49 billion).
"This year's expo offered a platform with an international perspective, driven by professional achievements and innovation, underscoring Wuxi's confidence and commitment to building a world-class IoT industrial cluster," said Zhang Chenyang, deputy director of the General Department at the Wuxi IoT Innovation Promotion Center, during the outcomes release conference.

The IoT Products and Applications Exhibition, a key feature of the expo, drew over 50,000 visitors who experienced the allure of intelligent living. The exhibition also included 27 supporting events, such as supply-demand matchmaking, new product launches, and innovation competitions, with participation from more than 1,000 manufacturing enterprises.
Events such as the China-Europe AI and IoT Industry Chain Matchmaking were bustling, featuring over 20 foreign enterprises from five countries, including Germany, France, and Austria, engaging with Chinese exhibitors. An international industrial group comprising 28 foreign enterprises from eight countries emerged as a highlight of the exhibition.
High-level events like this thrive on the exchange of ideas and wisdom. This year's expo brought together nearly 6,000 participants, including 17 academicians, 64 international guests, 115 experts and scholars, and 714 corporate executives. A total of 117 representatives from industry, academia, and research fields took the stage to share their insights.
Additionally, several significant industry outcomes were unveiled, offering guidance for future industrial development. Notable among these were the Top 10 Global IoT Trends for 2025 and the 2024-25 China Internet of Things Development Annual Report. These insights provide trend predictions, data support, and standards, serving as a Chinese reference for the global IoT industry's growth.
