The School of Business at Jiangnan University in Wuxi, Jiangsu province, recently hosted a cultural excursion for 27 international students, aiming to deepen their understanding and appreciation of traditional Chinese culture.
Their journey started at the China Clay Figurine Museum, where students appreciated the traditional Huishan clay figurines, recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage. Under the guidance of an expert, each participant had the opportunity to create their own figurine. A Vietnamese student shared their thoughts, saying, "Crafting a small clay rabbit was quite challenging, but incredibly enjoyable. This hands-on experience gave me a clearer, more tangible understanding of Chinese traditional craftsmanship."
