The 2025 China International Intelligent Communication Forum was held in Wuxi, Jiangsu province, on Nov 8, with a focus on exploring AI-driven international communication.
Oleg Kopylov, deputy secretary-general of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, emphasized the significant impact of artificial intelligence on socio-economic development and the future of human civilization during his speech at the forum. He pointed out that international media exchanges can improve security and stability, strengthen economic, cultural, and human ties, and ultimately benefit all of humanity.
Mayor Jiang Feng of Wuxi said that intelligent communication acts as both the bond of civilizations and a sign of modern progress. He encouraged participants to explore effective approaches for international dialogue. He also said Wuxi's goal is to better combine culture and technology, strengthen its international communication network, and to be a leading city in global smart communication.
The forum saw the release of the 2025 Chinese Cities International Intelligent Communication Capability Ranking and the inauguration of the Yangtze River Delta Base for the Global Language Service Platform.

During the forum, the commencement ceremony for the short film Love Letter to Wuxi Through the Lens, and the signing ceremonies for cultural projects involving purple clay teapot craftsmanship and virtual shooting of films took place.
The forum also featured three thematic sessions on digital humans, international communication, and film, along with a media tour to provide further insights.
