Over 3,000 trail-running enthusiasts complete challenge in Yixing

The starting gun fired for the 2025 Yang Xian 100 Trail Challenge at 8 am on Nov 8 in Yixing, a county-level city in Wuxi, Jiangsu province, with over 3,000 trail-running enthusiasts participating.

The event featured four categories: 100 kilometers, 50 km, 30 km, and 10 km, taking place over two days from Nov 8 to 9. The course starts and ends at Yinlong Valley, linking Yixing's ecological and cultural sites, giving participants the opportunity to challenge their endurance while experiencing the beauty of nature.

The entire course features 41 support points, which include 20 mountain entry and exit locations, 17 mountain rescue stations, and 10 supply stations. All points are staffed with police, security, emergency, and race rescue personnel.

After two years of careful development, the Yang Xian 100 Trail Challenge has established itself as Jiangsu's premier and largest trail-running event, attracting a wide range of trail-running enthusiasts.

In 2024, the event attracted 3,000 participants, doubling the attendance from its first year. This year, it expanded further to host 3,500 participants. In just the first 20 days, registrations exceeded 13,000, placing it among the top five similar events across the country.
