This was our first time going to Wuxi to see the cherry blossoms. It was quite a beautiful trip, and we had never seen such amazing views.

We went there during the Qingming Festival, taking a train from Shanghai. The number of visitors was much larger than on weekdays. We went to Yuantouzhu and reached Taihu Lake for our first stop by tourist ship.

We spent almost 1.5 hours waiting in the queue to catch the ship. Everyone was very excited, especially first-time visitors. There was an island there which was quite nice and peaceful.

During the cherry blossom season in Wuxi, the air turns soft with the scent of spring. Along the banks of Taihu Lake and across the isles of Yuantouzhu, thousands of cherry trees burst into clouds of pale pink and white.

Under the blossoms, locals and visitors alike wander slowly, savoring the fleeting beauty — some take a rest beneath the blooming canopy, others watch petals float on the water like tiny boats.

After that, we went back to another part of Yuantouzhu. Time flew so fast — even though we did not finish seeing the full view of the island in Taihu Lake, we saw the sunset when we were back on the ship.

At night, the cherry blossoms in Wuxi take on a magical glow. Under soft lantern lights, the pale pink petals shimmer like jewels against the dark sky.

There was a corner area which was called the best place to see the night view of the cherry blossoms. It was quite amazing — we took so many beautiful photos. The cherry blossoms, combined with the park's colorful lighting, were like a fairy-tale garden full of a magic show put on by nature. I love this place and hope to bring my family back next time.
