Lingshan Scenic Spot is made up of two main attractions, the Lingshan Buddha and the bathing ceremony.
Located in the Little Lingshan area south of Qinlv Peak of Mashan Hill, the Lishan Buddha is former site of the famous Xiangfu Temple in the Tang and Song Dynasties. When renovating Xiangfu Temple, our city also built a bronze Sakyamuni statue measuring eighty-eight meters in height. The Buddha statue is named Lishan Buddha after its location, Little Lingshan Hill, whcic was named by the famous Monk Xuanzang.
Building the Lingshan Buddha was the biggest event in the history of Buddhism in China in one hundred years. Meanwhile, it has become one of the symbols of Wuxi. It is of great meaning to the development of society, culture and economy.
Opening hours: 9:00 to 17:30
RMB 180 for common visitors;
RMB 145 for the aged above 60 years old (with valid certificates);
RMB 60 for the aged above 70 years old outside Jiangsu province (with valid certificates);
RMB 90 for children 1.2 -1.5 meters high and teachers with a teaching experience over 30 years (with valid certificates).
