The 6th China Students Service Outsourcing Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition ended successfully after the last 2-day intense competition in Wuxi. On the afternoon of August 29, various awards of the contest were all published: colleges and universities involving Northwestern Polytechnical University, Sun Yat-Sen University of Taiwan and Jiangnan University respectively won the 1st prize of the team of enterprise proposition, free proposition and entrepreneurial practice.

Li Yunfeng, a member of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Standing Committee and Executive Vice Governor of Jiangsu, Li Xiaomin, a member of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Standing Committee and Secretary of the Wuxi Municipal Party Committee, and others respectively presented prizes to colleges and universities winning prize. Wang Quan, Mayor of Wuxi, Zhang Daliang, Director of the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, and Wan Lianpo, Deputy Director of the Department of Service Trade of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, respectively made a speech.

This competition clung to modern service economy and themes of innovation, entrepreneurship and wealth creation and emphasized application orientation and enterprise and university interaction, attracting 889 teams of 309 colleges and universities involving Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, National Central University and NIIT University of India to enroll for participation. The competition was engaged in establishing international exchange platform for undergraduates and youth innovative talents, and invited NIIT University of India to take part in and compete with and have interaction with students of mainland and Taiwan for the 1st time. At the same time, the competition further gave play to the function of China Service Outsourcing Talent Net Work Platform to push 1,000 practice/employment posts in service outsourcing enterprises to 1,000 undergraduates through the platform and the WeChat service account of the contest, and invited youth entrepreneurs with venture success and senior venture capital investment experts to share entrepreneurial experience on the spot, thus establishing cooperation platform for youth students to show talents and realize entrepreneurial dreams.

In recent years, the service outsourcing industry in Wuxi has developed in a rapid way, and the number of service outsourcing enterprises in the whole city has reached over 1,400, with employees of over 160,000 and scope of business expanded to over 90 countries and regions in the world. And the industrial development level has been in the 1st square matrix of service outsourcing demonstration cities in the whole country.
