First-phase project of Metro Line 4 conducts assessment of feasibility study report

The Wuxi Municipal Development and Reform Commission entrusted Railway No. 3 Reconnaissance Design Institute Co., Ltd. to hold an assessment meeting themed as Feasibility Study Report on First-Phase Project of Wuxi Metro Line 4 on May 24. Representatives from the Jiangsu Development & Reform Commission, the Jiangsu Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and related units in Wuxi participated in the meeting, and 17 experts from the whole country conducted overall assessment on the feasibility research report on first-phase project of Line 4. Zhu Aixun, Deputy Mayor of Wuxi, attended the meeting.
Covering the whole line of about 24.8 kilometers, the first-phase project of Wuxi Metro Line 4 starts from Huishan Liutan Station in north and ends at Gonghu Avenue Taihu Expo Center Station, and sets up 18 stations all underground. The assessment meeting was composed of introduction of overall design, site survey by experts, discussion in groups, opinions and suggestions making and other phases. At the meeting, experts listened to reports concerning line scheme, building projects, disaster prevention and people's air defense, environmental protection and energy saving and others of the first-phase project of Wuxi Metro Line 4. Afterwards, the specific plan of the project will be optimized and completed according to review opinions of those experts, which will lay a foundation for the feasibility study report to achieve approval.
