It was learned from Wuxi Municipal Public Security Bureau that during the New Year's Day holiday, the city's reported crimes of illegal crimes decreased by 13.5% year-on-year, of which the criminal police situation fell by 14.7% year-on-year. The traffic and fire situation in the city was stable, and no major casualties occurred.

 

The public security organs at all levels in the city strictly enforced the 24-hour on-duty and leadership system, maintained more than one-third of the police force on duty, and carefully implemented the various security measures, and severely cracked down on the crimes of infringement at the end of the year. In response to the security features during the holiday, the city implemented a tiered patrol mode, with more than 7,200 patrols and more than 11,400 ambulances to the public, and effectively strengthened patrol prevention and control of key business areas such as scenic business districts, station airports, subways and buses.
