At 10:30 am on March 12, with the siren of the fishing port in Liyuan Sub-district, Binhu District, 32 ships from 4 teams including fishing, harvesting, transportation and aeration boats sailed into Meiliang Lake in an orderly way, and started the work of the year's Tai Lake algae fishing and lake patrol.


Binhu District has a coastline of 107.3 kilometers of Tai Lake, and the annual amount of blue-green algae fishing accounts for more than 70% of the city. Captain Zhang Wenxing of the blue algae fishing team, who has been responsible for this work for many years, revealed that the launch of weeds and blue-green algae fishing this time was the earliest in nearly three years.
