WIOT 2019 ended successfully, attracting 195,700 visitors. The third press conference of the WIOT 2019 was held yesterday. Groups of data showed the strong voice of Internet of Things in China, Jiangsu and Wuxi.

 

During the expo, 199 journalists from 92 media including Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao gathered in Wuxi to cover the event. According to preliminary statistics, as of 4 pm on September 10, the total transmission volume of the expo reached 1.128 billion times. More than 1,000 high-quality media reports and new media products, either in-depth analysis or vivid and interesting reports, presented the wonderful moments and far-reaching significance of the expo to the world, fully demonstrating the confidence and determination of "Looking at China, Jiangsu and Wuxi for the Future Development of the Internet of Things".

 

This year's expo created an Internet of Things experience park beyond the reality and touch the future. According to the big data statistics of operators, a total of 195,700 people visited and experienced the exhibition in 4 days, an increase of 6,700 over last year.

 

Summits and forums jointly provided a feast of ideas and consensus on the Internet of Things and built an Internet of Things publishing platform with insight into trends and business opportunities. Over the past 4 days, 407 distinguished guests delivered profound speeches, releasing heavy messages from different angles in different industries.

 

The expo painted a picture of Internet of Things cooperation integrating diverse industries and enabling industries. In 4 days, 542 exhibitors and 37 of the Fortune Global 500 showcased the latest products and in-depth applications in the fields of 5G communication, Internet of Vehicles, artificial intelligence, industrial Internet and consumer Internet of Things, reflecting the evolution of global Internet of Things technology and industrial transformation.

 

According to incomplete statistics, nearly one third of exhibitors reached cooperation intention with customers, and about 52% found potential customers. Focusing on key areas of the Internet of Things industrial chain, innovation chain and value chain, 57 major projects were launched in Wuxi, 19 bilateral or multilateral cooperation agreements were reached, 27 public platforms were unveiled or put into operation and 57 industry-university-research projects were signed, with a total investment of over 20 billion yuan.
