A few days ago, the Smart Health Development Forum of the 2020 World Internet of Things Exposition (WIOT) opened. Themed on “Smart pandemic prevention and control, healthy IoT”, industry representatives exchanged views on the integrated development of IoT information technology and health care. Zhu Aixun, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Wuxi Municipal Committee and Executive Vice Mayor of Wuxi, attended the event and made a speech.

At the opening ceremony, the Medical Treatment and Health Internet of Things White Paper (2020) launched a collection of typical cases. And the Medical Treatment and Health Internet of Things Information Standard Framework launched an invitation for standard framework cooperation and compilation. Four distinguished guests from the Statistical Information Center of the National Health Commission, AstraZeneca, Huawei and Vcbeat.top made keynote speeches on hot issues such as smart hospital construction, future of medical care led by IoT, medical IoT solutions and medical IoT industry trend. The forum will also have a series of activities about “Smart pandemic prevention and control, healthy IoT”.

In 2020, Wuxi has launched 5 Internet hospitals to carry out online fever diagnosis and treatment and provide further consultation services for patients with common diseases and chronic diseases. They can reduce the contact between doctors and patients. With the medical IoT technology, applications such as intelligent infusion monitors, baby anti-theft systems and wearable devices have gradually been practicable in some medical institutions, making it possible to reform service models and innovate service processes.
