The newly-built Taihu New City Sports Park, located at the intersection of Qingshu Road and Hefeng Road, is set to open in mid-July.
The park covers an area of 29,000 square meters and has three outdoor football pitches, two standard basketball courts, an indoor basketball hall, an indoor swimming pool, gyms, a table tennis and badminton hall, and an outdoor skating park.
Officials have said the new sports park will be developed into a community sports complex offering recreational sports facilities, sports training, and entertainment in an effort to promote healthier lifestyles among locals.
