The 2020 Beverly Wuxi Marathon will start at the usual time of 7:30 am on Nov 1 in Wuxi, Jiangsu province, local media reported on Oct 9.
It was originally scheduled for March 22 but postponed due to the COVID-19 epidemic, and the maximum number of entrants was reduced from 35,000 to 22,000.
The 22,000 slots include 15,000 for the full marathon (42.2 kilometers), 5,000 for the half-marathon (21.1 km) and 2,000 for the mini-marathon (5 km).
Participants must submit negative COVID-19 nucleic acid test results and have a green health code to participate in the event.
The annual marathon is known for its scenic route, which passes through several popular local scenic areas and attracts many runners from around the world every year.
