The 12th Chinese Renewable Energy Conference and Exhibition (CREC2020) kicked off in Wuxi, Jiangsu province on Nov 4, along with the opening of the 16th China SoG Silicon and Photovoltaic (PV) Power Conference.
During the three-day event, around 40 in-depth forums and activities will be held focusing on the latest industry trends. Over 500 leading companies gathered onsite to showcase their achievements, seeking to attract more than 20,000 professional visitors to boost the development of the renewable energy industry in China.

With the national goal of becoming carbon neutral before 2060, industry experts agreed that it is challenging but essential to make further use of renewables to reduce carbon emissions. Among all renewables, the most promising is photovoltaic (PV) power, said Wang Jin, dean of the Guohe InterContinental Energy Consultation Institute.
