Registration for the 2021 Wuxi Marathon will open on 10 am, March 10, according to local media.
The marathon, which will be held on April 11, 2021, has been named the IAAF Silver Label Road Race by the International Association of Athletics Federations.
Race organizers have limited the number of entrants to 27,000, with 1,800 places available for the full marathon, 7,000 places reserved for the half-marathon, and 2,000 for the mini-marathon.

The annual marathon is known for its scenic route, which passes through several popular local scenic areas and attracts many runners from around the world every year.
Thanks to effective epidemic prevention and control measures last year, the 2020 edition ended up being held successfully after seven months of delays.
This year's marathon will continue to require participants to make appointments at different times to get their supplies, aiming to avoid crowds. Participants must also provide negative nucleic acid test results from within seven days, their travel route from the past 14 days, and a green health code. They also must have their temperature taken before taking part in the event.
