The Wuxi Youth Art Troupe was established in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, on Dec 22 and it kicked off the debut performance on the same day.
The performance was unveiled with a song featuring a harmonious blend of traditional Chinese percussion music and enchanting bamboo flutes. The audience was then treated to Xiju Opera showcases, street dance routines, a guzheng ensemble, choruses, and more.

The Wuxi Youth Art Troupe was jointly established by four State-owned art troupes in Wuxi – Wuxi Song and Dance Theater, Wuxi Xiju Opera Theater, Wuxi Comedy Troupe, and Wuxi Chinese Orchestra.
The art troupe mainly consists of talented individuals trained by the training departments of these four troupes, while also including students from various youth centers and social institutions in the city.
The establishment of the Wuxi Youth Art Troupe aims to preserve and promote traditional Chinese culture, inspire cultural confidence in young people, provide a broader stage for talented young people, showcase the strength and style of Wuxi's young generation, and advance the high-quality development of Wuxi's cultural and artistic undertakings.
