That morning, the delegation learned about the flourishing peach industry at a modern agricultural park in Huishan district's Yangshan town, renowned as the "Homeland of Honey Peaches".
Leveraging an innovative Y-shaped cultivation model, the park has boosted the average yield per mu by 20 percent. Relying on a well-established logistics system involving over 60 autonomous vehicles and about 150 cold-chain tricycles from SF Express, fresh peaches can be delivered to the GBA within three days.
By launching peach-themed products, including pit carvings, wines, plush toys, and delicacies and hosting events like the Yangshan Peach Blossom Festival, it has also seen agri-tourism growth, with a total tourism revenue of 1.58 billion yuan ($220.36 million) in 2024.
Ke Xiaoming from Southern Metropolis Daily praised its agricultural planning, highlighting its cold-chain logistics system in particular. She said that such practices offered valuable lessons for GBA's fruit trade.

In the afternoon, the delegation proceeded to Liangxi district's cultural landmarks.
Merging cultural IP, music, and Chinese chic, Yingyueli Block in Huishan Ancient Town combines historical architecture with contemporary consumption, becoming a cultural tourism sensation since its feature on the CMG Spring Festival Gala.
The Jichang Garden unfolded before the delegation like a living canvas of classical Jiangnan landscapes. They also visited the Wuxi National Industry and Commerce Museum, a national industrial heritage site repurposed from the Maoxin Flour Mill, which was one of China's first national industry and commerce enterprises.

The group concluded the day at the Qingming Bridge Historical and Cultural Block, enjoying a mesmerizing night cruise tour on the Grand Canal. Through holographic projections, special effects, augmented reality interactions, and live-action performances, the route transported them through Wuxi's millennia-old history, vibrant cultural icons, legendary local figures, and cutting-edge urban innovations.
Xie Chenxing from Ching Po Daily was particularly impressed by the canal tour. "In just one hour, I experienced Wuxi's rich culture alongside its contemporary urban and technological advancements. One cannot help but be captivated by the city."
