Students from Jiangnan University's School of Foreign Studies in Wuxi, Jiangsu, recently visited Shuiyuan village in Baoshan city, Yunnan province, to host a live streaming event supporting local farmers.
In the early morning mist, these students traveled through the village with a firm resolve to present the region's products to the world, such as spring tea leaves, small red beans, and free-range chicken eggs.

They spent 10 days conducting an investigation in Shuiyuan, exploring tea plantations, farms, and processing workshops before starting their live streaming session.
During the two-hour live stream, students alternated in explaining different topics, including spring tea leaf brewing methods, a small red bean soup recipe, the nutritional advantages of free-range chicken eggs, and ham slicing techniques.
Based on backstage data, the total sales from the live stream reached 3644.3 yuan ($505.32), with 60 orders. During the same period, the live stream ranked 16th on Douyin's fresh food list.
