The All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce revealed the rankings of China's 500 largest private enterprises on Aug 28, with 24 companies from Wuxi making the cut.
The entry threshold in terms of operating revenue for China's top 500 private enterprises rose to around 27 billion ($3.79 billion) yuan in 2024, with their total operating revenue reaching 43.05 trillion yuan, reflecting continued growth in overall scale.
Heilan Group and Jiangsu Xin Chang jiang Group Co ranked among the top 100, at 58th and 86th respectively.
The "China Top 500 Private Enterprises" series of lists is compiled by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce based on research into large-scale private enterprises, ranking them according to their previous year's revenue. It is the most authoritative and comprehensive list for China's private economy.
A total of 6,379 enterprises with an operating revenue exceeding 1 billion yuan each in 2024 participated in the survey this year. The ACFIC has released the top 500 list according to their operating revenues.
