MLVision, an AI glasses brand under Wuxi-based company Weiguang Technology, unveiled its first lifestyle store on May 1 at Huishan Ancient Town in Liangxi district, Wuxi, Jiangsu province.
Visitors stepping into the store are greeted by a bright and minimalist environment that blends style with a futuristic vibe. A variety of AI glasses are carefully displayed, and according to the staff member, the MLVision AI glasses series is designed to be lightweight and focused on scenario-based applications, enhancing user-friendliness.
The MLVision M5 features a clip-on design for AR smart glasses, ensuring it is both lightweight and portable. Users can enjoy dual AI and AR capabilities without having to replace their existing eyewear. Meanwhile, the MLVision M6 represents a technological breakthrough with its innovative modular architecture, making it the world's first full-color AR smart glasses with hardware that can be sustainably upgraded.
Dai Zhaoen, founder and CEO of Weiguang Technology, said, "The true sign of maturity for AI terminals is not increasingly complex parameters but a decreasing barrier to use." With the opening of this store, MLVision aims to make cutting-edge technology more accessible, allowing consumers to experience it as easily as trying on regular glasses.
In 2025, Weiguang Technology signed an agreement to establish the Asia-Pacific R&D and manufacturing headquarters for smart wearable devices in Liangxi district, with an investment of approximately 300 million yuan ($44.04 million).
The company plans to set up a smart manufacturing production line with an annual output of 1 million flexible AI glasses. From the R&D and manufacturing base in Liangxi to the consumer experience store in Huishan Ancient Town, Weiguang Technology is committed to building a local AI brand in Wuxi and bringing "Wuxi Intelligent Manufacturing" to the national stage.
