Registration is now open for the 2026 Minions Fun Run, organized by HLA Group, the operator and title sponsor of the Wuxi Marathon.
This year's event, set for Oct 17 and 18 at Jiangyin Feima Sports Park, adds a 10-kilometer competitive race for the first time. The top five men and five women overall will each secure a guaranteed entry to the marathon category of the 2027 Wuxi Marathon.
The Fun Run is part of a popular family-friendly series that has now expanded to several cities across China, and this edition has been extended to a full weekend. The 4k fun run takes place on Saturday, Oct 17, with two start windows available at 10 am and 2 pm. Participants can choose from basic, fan, or duo entry packages, and children under 14 will receive an extra sports T-shirt from HLA Group at check-in.

The 10k race is scheduled for Sunday, Oct 18, with sessions at 8 am and 10 am. All finishers receive themed race packs, medals, post-race refreshments and electronic certificates. In each session, the top three male and female runners will also collect additional prizes. After both sessions conclude, organizers will rank all competitors by net time to determine the overall top five men and women, who will be awarded sponsor invitation slots for the 2027 Wuxi Marathon. These spots are non-transferable and reserved exclusively for the qualifying runners.
Entries are available through the "Race Assistant (参赛助手)" WeChat mini-program, the official registration channel for the Wuxi Marathon. Once the cap is reached, a waitlist will open, and any available spots will be offered in order of priority.
