The world's top four humanoid robot companies by revenue have strong ties to Wuxi, according to the list released by international consultancy Frost & Sullivan, and and all five companies on the list are based in China.
UBTECH Robotics has partnered with Wuxi-based Miracle Automation since 2020, when the two established a joint venture to develop industrial humanoid robots and intelligent logistics systems. UBTECH launched a robotics industrial park in Wuxi in 2025, with production scheduled to begin this year. Its Wuxi operations generated more than 300 million yuan ($45.66 million) in sales last year.
AgiBot is building an industrial presence across Wuxi's Huishan and Liangxi districts, covering robot manufacturing, core components and innovation facilities. Its local innovation and data collection centers opened in 2025.
Unitree Robotics has attracted investment from Wuxi-linked funds and partnered with Jiangnan University to establish a joint robotics laboratory. Local suppliers also support some of its components and manufacturing processes.
Galbot, meanwhile, has joined forces with Miracle Automation to develop industrial robots for automotive manufacturing, new-energy batteries and electronics.
Wuxi is leveraging its strengths in advanced manufacturing, automotive components and the Internet of Things to grow its robotics sector. The city has also established industrial data collection, testing and innovation platforms to accelerate development and real-world applications.
The city expects its embodied intelligence robotics industry to exceed 30 billion yuan in annual output by 2027, reinforcing its role in the global humanoid robot supply chain.
