This year marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of sister-city relations between Wuxi in East China's Jiangsu province and Ulsan in South Korea.
At the invitation of Ulsan, a Wuxi delegation departed Seoul for Ulsan to attend the celebrations on May 9.
Zhao Jianjun, mayor of Wuxi, met with his Ulsan counterpart Kim Doo-gyum, expressing his hope that both cities will strengthen cooperation in auto parts, artificial intelligence, new energy, and mechanical engineering and encourage friendly exchanges in more fields and at higher levels.

Kim noted that over the past 10 years, fruitful results have been obtained from the cooperation between Wuxi and Ulsan in people-to-people exchanges, economic activities and environmental cooperation.
He added that the two sides will continue deepening cooperation in AI, new energy and the bioindustry to contribute to the stable development of China-South Korea relations.
The two mayors inked an agreement to further deepen friendly cooperation and unveiled a pair of the Huishan clay figurines Da A Fu, a gift from Wuxi.
Ulsan is the largest industrial city in South Korea with auto production, shipbuilding, and petrochemical engineering being its three pilar industries. It has led the country for many years in per capita GDP.
Since Wuxi and Ulsan forged a sister-city relationship in 2013, they have carried out comprehensive exchanges and cooperation and organized a variety of activities and project matchmaking meetings to enhance their friendship.
