My recent visit to Wuxi reminded me that journeys often give us more than what's on the itinerary.

I spent a day at Xiangnuo Mill, a modest but efficient unit. It may not boast massive capacity, but it carried lessons of discipline and precision. In textiles, I've realized, it's not always the scale that impresses—it's the steadiness of the hum, the order in small spaces, and the quiet commitment of people who know their craft.

After the mill, I checked into the Atour Hotel. What made the stay memorable wasn't luxury, but philosophy. A coffee cup declaring "Life is a Tour", shower bottles whispering "Thank You". Simple words, but powerful reminders that progress isn't only about reaching milestones—it's about appreciating the path, and the people walking it with you.

And then came a serendipity I'll never forget. It was Ganesh Chaturthi, a pious day for every Indian. In the heart of Wuxi, I found myself dining at Ganesh Indian Restaurant. The familiar taste of dal, naan, and paneer felt more than just food—it was connection. Almost symbolic, as if the Lord Himself was reminding me that faith and culture travel with us, no matter where we go.

That evening, I smiled at the thought: A small Chinese mill teaching efficiency, a hotel preaching gratitude, and a restaurant named Ganesh blessing the day. Wuxi wasn't just business—it became a celebration of work, culture, and life's quiet coincidences.
