Plum Garden in Wuxi, Jiangsu province, is set to host a lantern show from Aug 15 to Oct 8 in celebration of the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival, which falls on Oct 6 this year.

The lantern show is expected to feature themes such as Silk Road, Glass Wonderland, and Celestial Attire. It will include a number of large-scale lantern displays from Sichuan province's Zigong city, renowned for its lanterns, as well as performances such as grassland dances and traditional molten iron fireworks display.

The lantern show at Plum Garden has been celebrated for 14 years, becoming a cultural symbol of Wuxi's autumn nights.
Tickets: 60 yuan ($8.35) per person
Opening hours: 7 am to 4 pm for day tour; 5 pm to 9:30 pm for night tour
