Wuxi Shuofang Airport in Jiangsu province has handled over 10.24 million export cross-border e-commerce shipments as of Aug 6 in 2025, up 110.6 percent from last year.
This milestone represents the second time Wuxi's airport has surpassed the 10 million shipment mark in cross-border e-commerce, following the first breakthrough in 2024. Notably, this year's achievement was reached nearly five months earlier than last year.
Since the beginning of this year, Wuxi authorities have issued a special action plan to facilitate cross-border trade, providing strong momentum for the development of local cross-border e-commerce.
Wuxi Customs and Wuxi Shuofang Airport have collaborated to enhance the functions of the customs supervision center, achieving full compatibility for general cargo, international express, cross-border e-commerce, and international mail.
The appointment clearance service is available around the clock, and the entire process of cross-border cargo arrival and inspection is continuously optimized to ensure goods are checked and released upon arrival.
Wuxi Shuofang Airport's high-quality business environment continues to attract leading cross-border e-commerce players such as SHEIN, Pinduoduo, and Cainiao, which are increasingly expanding their operations at the airport.
Moving forward, the airport will focus on expanding flight routes, upgrading facilities, and refining services to extend its global reach and provide precise and efficient one-stop logistics services.
